COVID 19 Relief – Village Health Teams and Food distribution – click to learn more
Thank you to everyone who has continued their support throughout this difficult time. COVID-19 has affected people in ways we can only imagine and our organization wants you to know we are here for you. With your generous donations we were able to get masks, money, medicine, food supplies and seeds to Uganda. Thank you for all your help and your continuous support. Here you can see Emmanuel Clinic Village Health Team (VHT’s) volunteer workers receiving much needed medical supplies, masks and soap for their villages. The 25 member Emmanuel Clinic VHT group serve 15 villages in this region. The Northern Uganda VHT group are 12 volunteer members serving 9 villages. Hope 2 One Life has trained and supported these VHT groups for the past 10 years. They both have now been supported in a micro loan income generating project to help with sustainability. These photos show the Katamarwa, Rakayata, Kampala, Awal and Palabek villages receiving the supplies. These photos were taken on site by our awesome partner Agape Community Foundation for Development (ACFD) director Terence who personally delivered them with approval of the Ugandan Government. We are grateful to the Giving Tuesday Donors and Faith Chapel for their amazing support in this relief effort! God Bless you!
